Random post: Chorus in Minjok Festival

 Today, all performance is successfully completed. For more than a month, all 17th wavers, some 16th wavers, and some teachers made great efforts for their performance. All of them wetilre busy studying, teaching, and having a good time, but they spent a lot of time practicing.

 There were many kinds of performances in the festival: samulnori, rock bands, orchaestra, and etc. I was in Chorus by the way. At first, many chorus members did not have passion toward chorus. We started practicing four months ago. Teacher taught vocalization methods at first; how can we make better sound. Then, members were divided with 4 parts: base, tenor, alto, and soprano. One person in each part was selected as part leader.

 Most chorus members weren't willing to practice until about a month ago. We felt Chorus took too much of our time. Also, many of us didn't think we need to practice as much as a few months. Although we finished learning one song after one and a half month, most members couldn't sing well. They still felt bothersome wih chorus.

 However, after learning all two songs, members started to practice the songs. They worked hard not to get penalty point at first], but some of them started to get responsibility. They asked teachers how to sing and taught each other. As a result, most students became able to sing the first song without a big problem. Especially base part was outstanding. Most base members memorized the song as well.

 The another song was much harder than the previous one. Many chorus members felt difficulty keeping with beat. what makes it worse is that there is a dance part while singing. The members couldn't memorize all the dances. Although it was repetitive, there was a slight differences, making it more confusing.

 Members practiced more and more as time goes on. As time passes  by, members memorized most of the songs, but still they were confused by complicated dance. Before the concert, there was a rehersal. We failed to keep in with each other in rehersal. Beat was still too confusing.

 However, we practiced as much as 3 hours right after rehersal. This brought many changes. Since, all members now passionly practiced, they could revise their mistakes quickly.

 We could complete chorus successfully even though there was one big mistake in the. last. Still, it was certainly successful. As chorus members spend much time and effort, the result was great. Thanks to everyone and the teacher.
