My goal

 I have many anticipations when I first came to KMLA. Especially, I thought my English ability would increase hugely due to English Only Policy and classes taught in English. However, in the case of domestic fields, most classes for freshmen are taught in Korean without a few classes. Also, as EOP becomes voluntary policy, most students do not keep EOP. I naturally don't have many efforts and enough chances to speak English, and need some improvement.

  The most urgent thing that I need some help is writing. I'm still unfamiliar with writing in English. As a result, it takes a long time to write an essay and I have difficulty expressing my feeling and logic in English. I've tried to improve my writing ability with Mr.moon, but we don't have enough time to make some huge improvement.

 So, I will make an efforts to raise my writing skill in this class. This is an important issue for me, which I can hardly solve by myself. I need some teachers who can check my writing and advise to me. In addition, I also have some troubles speaking in English freely. Sometimes, others do not understand what I'm saying, and in some cases, people misunderstand me. It's because I haven't talked with foreigners much and haven't put many efforts especially during an summer vacation. I hope I can learn both speaking and writing well, so that I can be more familiar to express my thought in English.

introduction of Min gyu

 Hello Mr. Garrioch, I'm in your class again. You've taught me before but I think I need to introduce myself again because I want you to remind who I am and primarily, it's a homework. So, although you are bored, please understand me.

 So..... My name is Park min gyu. I was born in Ulsan, which is the city right next to Busan. I spent most of my childhood in the city although I moved to Seoul, so I have affection for there. After moving to Seoul, I had lived Mok-dong for five years before entering KMLA.

 Now I'll talk about my favorites. I enjoy playing basketball. I'm in a KMLA basketball team as a center. Although I'm not a good player yet, I've practiced hard to contribute to my team. Getting a gold medal in Gangwon basketball competition is one ultimate goal of my team. I'm sure we will succeed to get it.

 I enjoy watching movie and drama. Since there is no TV in dormitory room(sadly), I can't watch drama. However, in summer vacation, I saw one movie: Step up 4. Two years ago, I watched Step up 3, which became my favorite movie. Many actors and actresses in Step up 3 showed marvelous dances within impressive story. Although the story structure of Step up 4 has some common points with that of Step up 3, I enjoyed watching Step up 4, too.

 Oh, I haven't introduced my favorite actress during an semester. I like Moon Geunyoung more than any other actresses and actors. She was in some dramas such as Cinderella sister, Mary is staying out, and Young bride. In those dramas, she looks beautiful, innocent, attractive, cute, and lovely(although I haven't watched many of them).  I'm finally going to talk about what I want to be in the future. I've thought about this for a long time, and still I'm pondering. I'm not sure about what I want to major, yet. I'm thinking about becoming a prosecutor or mayor of a small city. I just want to improve some local districts of Korea, and punish the companies which are involved in price-fixing and tax evasion. What I want to do in the future can be changed in any time, so I'm still not sure what kind of person I will be.
